Minibanner.jpgWorking on Bonaire - Work Permit

Work Permit

When you intend to work on the island of Bonaire and you are not an Antillean or admitted by law, you need a work permit. Only your employer can apply for this work permit. All necessary documents will be sent to your home address.
Important note - a work permit will only be issued if the employer can prove via advertising in the local newspapers that there are no locals available to do this specific job.

Work permits for wife/husband/children: You are not permitted to work on the island if you are the wife/husband /child of an employee on contract, unless you get your own work permit. This applies to non-Antilleans only. For more information contact the immigration office, Tel. 717-8019
